Hello!

I'm Laura Hole. I'm an illustrator and comic maker from Devon (UK).

My work often includes themes about social justice, feminism, music, and all things spooky.

My main passion is narrative and my passion for writing stories and illustrating them is lifelong and unending.

I work with lots of different media, but I'm currently working mostly digitally, but still love to dabble with dip pen, ink and anything colourful and messy.

My webcomic, Pumpkin Spice, won the 2017 Earl Richards Narrative Award.

Recently I have been associate lecturing, delivering workshops and organising comic events in Plymouth. In March 2023 Plymouth Comic and Zine Fair was hosted by Ocean Studios, organised by me with support from Real Ideas Org. The organisation of PCZF 2024 is well underway and is due to take place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd March 2024.

I am represented by Christabel McKinley for David Higham Associates. Christabel can be contacted at christabelmckinley@davidhigham.co.uk
